Siena's ZTL applies every day, 24 hours a day. Entry, driving and parking are banned without a permit. A guest staying in accommodation inside the ZTL must have the accommodation register the plate.

When the ZTL applies
The zone is in force every day from 0:00 to 24:00; entry, driving and parking are banned to vehicles without a permit at any hour.

How to enter legally
- Book accommodation inside the ZTL and give the plate to the accommodation; the owners of guest accommodation register their guests' plates through the city's online service.
- Without a permit, leave the car outside and walk in; the zone applies at all hours.
